Repayments are based on a fixed rate. At the end of the fixed rate period, customers on a fixed rate can choose from a range of fixed rate options or the applicable variable interest rate available at that time.
With fixed rates, the Annual Percentage Rate of Charge (APRC) may be higher or lower than the rate we show here, as we calculate them on the basis that the loan reverts to the prevailing variable interest rate.
The maximum loan amount will typically not exceed a multiple of 4 times the first time buyer's gross annual income and a multiple of 3.5 times a second and subsequent buyer's gross annual income.
